Cherry Blossoms

It’s that time again for probably the most photographed event in Washington DC, the Cherry Blossoms. Friday morning I got up at the crack of dawn and headed down to DC to see the cherry blossoms before they are gone. It seems like they come and go so fast. If you haven’t had the chance to see the Cherry Blossoms, please check it out. The Tidal Basin is beautiful when they are in bloom and with the monuments in the back ground, it is a beautiful site. DC Mall

So we went to the downtown mall area of DC. For those who don’t know, that is the area where you can find the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Capitol Building and Tidal Basin.

We came away a little frustrated. It was humid and we didn’t feel like we got what we wanted. Nevertheless, here’s some of what we walked away with…
