A warm sea breeze against our faces, the smell of saltwater in the air and sand between our toes…for a minute I thought we were on vacation. Well, it might as well have been, because a couple weeks ago we ventured down to the Sandbridge area of Virginia Beach for our first beach wedding with Jen and Bryan. (If you don’t remember them, we posted some shots from their engagement shoot in an earlier post.) It was an all-around great day for photography, even though it started sprinkling in the middle of the ceremony. About the time we wrapped up the service, the bottom dropped out of the sky. Luckily the rain slacked off, the sun came out and we went back down to the beach to get shots by the pier and along the shore. Congratulations Jen and Bryan! Molly and Charles got married at the Royal New Kent Golf Club in Providence Forge, Virginia. We could not have asked for a better day of weather after about a week straight of rain. The wedding was beautiful and intimate, with the ceremony and the reception taking place outside.  Molly and Charles were a joy to work with. Below are a few photos from their special day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day to shoot Eran and Justin’s wedding.  It was a beautiful spring day coming off a few days of cold and rain.  The setting could not have been more perfect either, taking place at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna.  The intimate ceremony took place outside on the Atrium’s terrace. The reception followed with excellent food and individual cakes at each table made by the bride and groom.
